Karl “Jack” Russell, General Manager

Jack Russell is General Manager of Offshore, Oil & Gas at STX Service Americas, a position he assumed in 2021. Jack’s focus is on key customers who serve the Oil and Gas Industries within North America, Central and South Americas. With extensive service and project management experience over the last 25 years, the value of detailed planning will never be undervalued.
Delivery performance and management of customer expectations is always the goal, with a real world understanding as to the consequences quality plays in the future success of any company. His goal is always to assist others and make today better day.
He has a passion for Marine Engineering and the sport of Rugby. Jack values and understands the strength a good team will create and how it extends far beyond the confines of any company’s name.
Jack is a time served UK accredited Electrical/Mechanical Technician Apprentice and a Mechanical Engineering Honors graduate from the University of Portsmouth, England.

Seungbong Chae, Manager
SOLUTION, Technical Manager
Mr. Chae has implemented his knowledge and experiences for the company’s spare parts businesses, and has shown professional knowledge in his endeavor and good communication manner, which are highly required to perform the proffered occupation.
In 2004, Mr. Chae graduated from the ”MATI” – Russian State University of Aviation Technology, Moscow, Russia, with a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Engineering. The next thing, he served as a Manager for sales engineering of design team in STX Engine and worked for all types of commercial diesel engine projects for 15 years.
He joined to STX SA in June 2024 with impeccable work experiences that we are looking for as the SOLUTION, Technical Manager. We are confident that he will continue to make contribution the customer’s business grow.

Jimmy (wonjin) Son, Manager
PMS, Technical Manager
Jimmy Son works as a PMS, Technical Manager at STX Service Americas, a position he assumed in 2023.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University in Korea and with 13 years of experience in STX Engine for Design department, he has a deep understanding of all kind of components, structure and electric system as well. He served lots of cases for planned maintenance, repair and trouble shooting. He is the specialist for 24/7 customer service.
We are confident that Jimmy is a dedicated Technical Manager who prioritizes customer satisfaction and success. His top priority is to provide the best services and solutions that meet customer requirements.
