In 2011, in an effort to compliment the group’s service establishments in Europe, Singapore and China which were supporting the thousands of STX-manufactured engines in operation around the world, STX Marine Service Co., Ltd. of Korea reached a decision to form its first comprehensive engine services company in the Americas. Our primary mission in the Americas was to provide engine technical support, onboard and workshop services along with locally accessible spare parts for the ship owners and offshore drilling companies in the region while helping these clients to protect and maintain their STX-built assets. In 2016, STX Engine Co., Ltd. acquired the STX network of service companies, during an altogether challenging time for our industry.

We in STX have built our trusted reputation strategically with a team of highly skilled, very experienced professionals who share many of the same goals and principles, regardless of our backgrounds or history: each providing excellent quality, honest customer service with strong listening and communication skills, a customer-first and decision-making attitude driven by integrity and fairness.
